Is this like those horoscopes....

No, I because I think it has more to do with psychology.

You are pure, moral, and adaptable.
You tend to blend into your surroundings.
Shy on the outside, you're outspoken to your friends.

You believe that you live a virtuous life...
And you tend to judge others with a harsh eye.
As a result, people tend to crave your approval.

In a half an hour....

She will be gone.

I fled from my room, for the incessent 'hunt and peck,' or rather, the hunt and pound on the keyboard on the computer above my room was driving me crazy. I think that it has to do as well with the smaller portions of sleep that I have been getting that make me a slight bit more irritable. Either way, she has been pounding on the computer for nearly two hours. So homework went out the window.

For the majority in the cave, we have been hosting a foreign exchange student, but for only 9 days while her host family is in the mts skiing. Thank goodness. If it was much longer, I don't know what I would do. She only bothers me because she really has no interest in learning the language, our culture, or academics. Her only cares are the few friends she has, for she thinks that "Timo, you don't chose your friends, they chose you." Perhaps a truth in many respects, but not for a bump on a log.

I know that not all foreign exchange students are so indolent. But this is the second one for us. (We hosted one about five years ago that was on the comp all the time and not wanting to make friends.)
Sometimes it is also slightly amusing.

Orchestra concert, how art thou? I wish I knew.

I have had a lot to do lately, most of it as a result of myself putting things off for so long. I am finally nearing completion on first semester physics ind. study, and today with the help of a parental excusal from band and choir I was able to get caught up in spanish. And now tonight, I must try to get caught up in calc before I fall asleep. Which is probably why I am behind in the first place.... I stay up too late, then the next night I am too tired to do the homework. O well. I felt like crap in the pool yesterday and today, or in other words I am really ready to start taper practices manana. (They will get easier as we let our muscles recover=taper.) I need some sleep too. Oh, and this week Isabella is staying with us. She is the foreign exchange student from Brazil with Rotary. (Not Natalia, but she lives just down the road on Greenwood there, jo) That is interesting. But anyway. conference is on saturday, so I should get school stuff done tonight. In other news, the other night we also hosted two girls from the luther choir, which was fun. And right now, I am missing the orchestra concert which makes me angry. Stupid homework. I will go in the spring....
