Survival

I survived another week at BHS. I don't know how it happened, but somehow, everything worked out. I swam well in our meet on Thursday, made the paper twice, played in a band concert on tuesday, (I am now, according to our program, section leader for not only the trombone section but the tuba section as well) and finally bought a Christmas ball ticket. Which is, by the way, tomorrow night. That is, after a full day of Choir rehearsal, current events stuff, and shopping.

My biggest accomplishment of the week was last night's last-minute completion of the Arts, Athletics, and Academics scholarship for the.... well, for something like 1k. That was 1:00 this morning actually, and today was a daze. I hate not enough sleep. I believe that is the first time I have posted that, but it promises to be a reaccuring theme.

There will be hundreds of Christmas ball stories online, some remotely similar and others entirely unique. I promise to have one among them. As of now, things look like this:

I stop by holbrook's house sometime around 6, and we head over to Jenna's for dinner. Penoyer might ride with us too. The purpose of this is efficiancy, since we are going to holbrook's house afterwards for a grandisimo afterparty, he needn't drive.
Jenna's house dinner is at 630, afterwhich we will head to the ball stylishly late of course. Then there are no lines.
The groove goes on for several hours, then we head to holbrook's for the snowball fight of the year, or whatever he has in mind.

It promises to be an interesting night.

Have fun!

You'll be amazed at how many weeks will just sort of flow by after awhile. Then...poof and you've got a tassle on and you look around wondering what the hell happened.

Today, December 17, 2005, along with the early morning hours of tomorrow, will hopefully constitute some of the best hours of my young adult life.
